Did you know that setting better boundaries will help grow your practice?

WEEKENDS…

I used to use the weekends to:

try to catch up on SOAP notes,

write blogs,

pay bills,

respond to 100,000 emails

clean the house

woman a stretching and taping tent at a race

and about a thousand other things.

Well, the truth is that I TRIED to do all of these things on the weekend…

I usually didn’t actually get much done because my brain and body were just so fried from the week of patients.

I toiled away all weekend long, not really getting anything done, and watching my to-do list grow longer.

If you’ve ever felt like this weekend after weekend, then I don’t have to tell you how incredibly terrible this situation feels.

It’s sort of like a cross between drowning and running a marathon 24/7 yet never reaching a finish line. The race just keeps going on and on and on.

What I didn’t know, back when I wasted my weekends like this, was…. well I didn’t know a lot!

I knew being so overwhelmed and stressed all the time wasn’t healthy, but I didn’t know how to change it.

I didn’t know that I needed to stop saying yes to everything and commit to only the right things.

I didn’t know that setting better boundaries would actually help my practice grow.

Instead I worried that saying no would mean there wasn’t enough money to cover the overhead (which was really too high).

Can you relate to what I’m saying here???

If so, then you need grab a free audio training I made for you. It’s 26 minutes long, which is perfect to put on while you go for a walk or fold the laundry or drive in to the office.
