Hi! I’m Danielle. Chiropractor, mom, business owner and woman with an actual life. But that wasn’t always the case.
You might not guess it today, but years ago I sold my first chiropractic practice because trying to juggle being an entrepreneur and caring for my health and family was just too much.
Maybe you’re at that breaking point now yourself. If you are, wait! I want to tell you that today, my life is much different—I spend time with my kids, take vacations with family (or even just alone), I have a thriving business, an amazing team… and most of all I no longer feel overwhelmed and burned out every. single. day.
If you’ll let me, I’d love to show you how I did it, so you can be a successful hands-on practitioner without sacrificing your health or your family in the process.
How I reached a turning point in my Chiropractic business:
When I found out I was pregnant with my second baby, I knew something needed to change in my business—fast. I was working 12-14 hour days and carrying my phone with me everywhere so I’d never miss a patient call. Meanwhile I was missing out on my first baby growing up.
I began researching how to keep my business growing as a new mom, but resources for women chiropractors in my position were limited. Specifically? To zero. Every strategy, program and resource out there seemed to have been put together by (for lack of a better way to say it) older white men… and they didn’t understand the realities of my life as a mother first.
I needed a way to make more money without just seeing more and more clients—and I needed to be able to have time freedom to be present with my family, too.
Since I couldn’t find resources to help me, I figured it out myself.
The hard work I did so you don't have to.
Selling my first practice wasn’t as hard of a decision as you might think. After a devastating miscarriage, getting pregnant again felt like a second chance—an opportunity to do things right, to put my health and family above the stress of running a business I wasn’t even sure was profitable at the time, because I didn’t know how to look at the numbers.
But it didn’t take long for the entrepreneurial itch to come back. How could I have a family and a career, without one taking away from the other?
I dug into the art and science of modern marketing and running a business in the twenty-first century with the power of tools my potential clients were using every day—the internet and social media.
Spoiler alert: No one out there was applying these amazing resources to hands-on practitioners work. But I tried and erred and learned and grew, and now I’m able to teach hands-on practitioners all around the world how to build sustainable businesses that don’t require being on-call 24/7.
I am a living testament to how powerful the system that I created is. I've built a multiple six-figure company, host a podcast that changes lives and businesses every week, and I never have to sacrifice time with my family. Ever.
I believe in The Sustainable Success System so much I even give away an introduction to my system for free. You can get it here, and discover how many women’s lives have been changed by this system. Sign up for my free webinar now!
If you feel overwhelmed and guilty thinking that practice ownership seems different for you than it does for men, I’m here to tell you point-blank: You’re not imagining it. It is.
If I’d had a female mentor in practice, the journey I took probably would have been much easier. But when I started on this path, that just didn’t exist. With a female leader in this industry, maybe I never would have closed my first practice, or basically put myself through internet college to learn everything chiropractic school forgot to tell me about running a sustainable business.
But if I hadn’t been through all of that, then I probably wouldn’t be where I am right now, teaching other women how to take up space in the chiropractic world—how to have a voice, and control over their schedule and income.
You don’t need to struggle as long as I did trying to find harmony, peace and balance.
You don’t need to go into tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to grow your business while you’re still paying off student loans.
You don’t need to miss time with your family to book every possible billable hour.
You don’t need to climb the mountain when there’s a faster, easier way up.
