Is it weird I know the day and place this girl was conceived?!?⁣
⁣
Well, I do. ⁣
⁣
In part because it was on our honeymoon in Mexico…⁣
⁣
And in part because her conception was a key point in my journey as a #mamachiropractor ⁣
⁣
You see, just 8 weeks before this girl was made in Mexico, I miscarried a baby near the end of the first trimester. ⁣
⁣
It was a brutal, traumatizing (physically, mentally, emotionally) experience. ⁣
⁣
Every cell in my body said the amount of stress I was putting my body through to grow a successful practice was the biggest reason why it happened. ⁣
⁣
Of course, I’ll never know if that was true. But it was MY TRUTH at that time. ⁣
⁣
So, when I conceived again just a few weeks later, I was going to stop at nothing to make sure my next baby was born full-term and healthy. ⁣
⁣
By just a couple of months later, I handed the keys of my practice over to a new doc and said “adios chiropractic.”⁣
⁣
What I didn’t know then was that the next few months and years would take me on a journey of discovering the philosophy, art and science of success as a WOMAN in chiropractic who wanted to be a present mom, too. ⁣
